Coşkunöz Underwater Sports Community collects underwater wastes
According to the United Nations Environment program, 10 million ton terrestrial waste are thrown into the sea every year and the terrestrial wastes constitute 80% of pollution in the seas. According to the report, plastic waste will be more than fish in 2050.
Coşkunöz Underwater Sports Community collected underwater wastes by diving in the Sea of Marmara Denizli/Narlı region so as to point out environmental pollution due to terrestrial wastes in the seas. At the end of the diving lasting 2 hours, separated wastes were listed and sent to disposal plants.
We pride Coşkunöz Underwater Sports Community which is acting with the mission to leave more livable world and cleaner environment to the next generations with our vision being respectful to all the values about human, environment and life.
