M. KEMAL COŞKUNÖZ VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL

Coşkunöz Education Foundation had the M.Kemal Coşkunöz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School built in Nilüfer, Bursa in 1997 and it was assigned to the Ministry of National Education.

The school, which is still supported and funded by Bursa Coşkunöz Education Foundation, provides almost 1000 students training in “Information Technologies, Biomedical Device Technology, Electrical-Electronics Technology, Machine Technology”.

Silent and Accessible Education Project


The “Silent and Accessible Education Project” was launched so as to support the Bursa Nilüfer Private Education Vocational High School students in overcoming their handicaps and being successful individuals. Hearing-impaired youngsters eager to acquire a profession have benefited from visual education aids, new benches and equipment within the scope of this project.


The procurement of aids required for “visual education”, which is the best effective learning method of the hearing-impaired, and the setting up of the system at Nilüfer Private Education Vocational High School have been provided within the project of “Silent and Accessible Education Project”, aiming at easing education lives of the youngsters who contact silently with the external world. Thus, training prepared with sign language and directed from the control panel in the school, have started to be broadcast by closed-circuit from LCD displays in all social areas, corridors and the dining hall. Benches have been purchased so as to eliminate the inadequacy and deficiency of apparatus used for acquiring a profession within the same project.
